The staff, especially the manager, were wonderful and very accommodating. It was very convenient not to have to check in at a front desk, and just be able to go straight to our room. We’re within easy walking distance of the Kimmel Cultural Campus, the Bellevue Hotel, Crystal Tea Room, City Hall, The Lucy, the Academy of Music, the Arts Ballroom, and more. This sprawling split-level suite — our most expansive space, at 1,000 square feet — features two bedrooms, a large living room (perfect for gatherings and celebrations!), two full bathrooms and a kitchenette. Named for Dr. Alice Norton, a remarkable Guild member who organized the Guild’s musical and theatrical productions, the suite occupies the space that was once the club’s auditorium. Today, a cool, elevated rock ‘n’ roll vibe — all graphic textiles, luxe leathers, brass bling, and other whimsical details — nods to the lively spirit, fun and showmanship Alice brought to the Guild.

Great location, hotel is drop dead gorgeous, room was beautiful and comfortable, great hotel amenities including sparkling water on tap, free snacks and drinks. Didn't see other hotel guests around so our stay was very quiet. Bathroom was very nice with plenty of towels and nice smelling toiletries. Absolutely beautiful property, so well designed and I love that they've really kept in line with the history of the place. The room features a soaring ceiling, luxurious textiles and beautiful original details, for a space that’s as striking as it is plush and comfortable. If you don’t feel like whipping up meals in your home-away-from-home, you can order off the menu at a.kitchen + bar. Breakfast consists of favorites like cornmeal pancakes and a French omelet, while dinner is a bit heavier with entrees like grilled branzino and roast lamb leg.

The first two are a bit upscale, but they’re still more casual than other fine dining restaurants you may have on your list.
